London South Bank University's School of Health

The Faculty of Health and Social Care is the largest of the University's four faculties with over 7,000 students and 350 teaching and research staff. It is the UK's second largest provider of nurse education and trains one in four of London's nurses and health and social care professionals.

It has a long-standing reputation for professional education, training and research in the fields of nursing, social work and professions allied to health and medicine.

Boasting two research centres, over 25 research students are supported by 12 professors and readers and the Faculty runs externally-funded research programmes worth over £1.5million. HSC are also at the forefront of the NHS Modernisation and Service Improvement agenda through the design and implementation of a range of practice and innovative workforce redesign programmes.
