Linking London Summer Events 2020 Due to the coronavirus pandemic we have had to review our summer term events. We are currently working on a revised online events offer. Our first event will be our IAG Practitioner Group meeting on the 23rd of April, see below. Details of further events will be added to the events section of our website soon. Please not if you have already booked on to one of our summer term events these are in the process of being cancelled or re-scheduled.
Linking London Online Coffee Morning Catch Up: What next for the Graduate Labour Market? At the coffee morning catch up we will be hearing from labour market expert Charlie Ball, Head of Higher Education Intelligence at Prospects, who will be providing an overview of the current graduate labour market in the context of covid-19 and some crystal ball gazing as to how the pandemic might affect job opportunities in the year ahead. This will be followed by a news round up and an opportunity for partners to update each other on their work to support learners in the context of HE progression. Online Webinar
Linking London Higher Apprenticeship and Degree Apprenticeship (HADA) Group Meeting - Webinar The third meeting of the academic year, chaired by Darryll Bravenboer, Director of Apprenticeships and Skills at Middlesex University London, will offer partners an opportunity to share issues and updates in the context of the current pandemic. Attendees will also hear from Mandy Crawford Lee, Director of Policy and Operations, University Vocational Awards Council, who will be providing a national perspective on the latest higher and degree apprenticeships in the current context, followed by a Q+A. Linking London Student Retention and Success Meeting - Webinar Our third student retention and success practitioner group meeting will provide an opportunity to find out more about the work that is going on to increase student retention and success amongst HE students within our partner organisations. Linking London Access Practitioner Group Meeting - Webinar At this meeting, delivered online, attendees will hear from Marisa Castellini, Head of Access at OCN London, who will be updating the group on the latest Access to HE Diploma developments, in the current context and there will be an opportunity to share the latest news, issues and good practice via a round table update.
